The general director of internationalization, María Dolores Parra, explained that the Valencia Region maintains the upward trend of its exports, which has placed the trade surplus at 1,138 million euros, the highest of Spain.

From the Comunitat Valenciana, is exported the 11.5% of all Spanish companies specifically, from Valencia, the product exported worth 4,737.4 million Euros, which represents an increase of 5.5%; from Castellón, the product has been exported for 1,838.9 million Euros, with an increase of 9.8%; and from Alicante it has been exported for a value of 1,411.2 million Euros, which represents an increase of 5.3%.

By sectors, the automotive sector concentrates 27.3% of our exports, with an increase of 8.5%, followed by the food and beverages sector, with 20.6% of sales abroad and an increase in 1.9%. Then there are the ceramic products, which grow by 8.8%, and non-chemical semimanufactures, which grow by 7.1%, in this period.
